Following the bombshell news that Simon Cowell got his friend, Andrew Silverman’s estranged wife Lauren Silverman pregnant, new details are coming to the surface.
Andrew, a NYC real estate developer, filed divorce papers two weeks ago at Manhattan Supreme Court. But in a move designed to humiliate Cowell, he has named the X Factor creator a co-respondent in the divorce filing and he might even have to show up in court.
Andrew claimed adultery as the reason for the divorce and New York is a no fault state.
Friends say that Lauren is a “gold digger” and the “pregnancy was by the design.” Andrew’s brother, Alexander, told the Post, “It is an unbelievable story of betrayal. It is a sad story and a tragic story.”
Lauren, who’s reportedly 10 weeks along, has emerged in public since the news broke, walking with her son in Bridgehampton, New York this week.
Sources told Daily Mail that Cowell is “freaked out by this but there is no question that he will not support the child.”
