The NBC show Chicago PD has just added two new members to its investigative team.
According to Deadline Sophia Bush and Patrick Flueger have been added as series regulars to the spinoff series.
Bush is best known for her role on the television series One Tree Hill, while Flueger was previously on the series The 4400.
The Hollywood Reporter is stating that Bush will play Erin Lindsay, a member of the CPD investigative team with an unexpected past. Flueger will be playing Kyle Ruzek, who is a hotheaded rookie plucked from the academy for dangerous, delicate undercover work at the intelligence unit.
Chicago PD was aired as a spinoff pilot of the series Chicago Fire.
Other cast members of the series include John Seda and Jesse Lee Soffer. Bush is replacing Melissa Sagemiller who was cast in the pilot but was not hired back for the series.
Ironically, Bush was recently attached to another television show that also starred Flueger and Soffer.
There is no official airdate for Chicago PD but it is expected to start up in the upcoming television season.
