Sylvester Stallone is rejoicing the news that Expendables costar Bruce Willis has been replaced by Harrison Ford in the third installment of the franchise. Stallone took to Twitter to slam Willis for being “greedy and lazy.”
News of the replacement surfaced Tuesday causing Stallone to quickly rejoice.
“Willis out…Harrison Ford in!!! Great news!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!” he tweeted. The celebration seemed a bit odd seems how Stallone had worked alongside Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and Terry Crews in the Expendables 2. Stallone and Willis also worked closely in the first Expectendables.
He followed with a not-so subtle dig at his former costar writing, “GREEDY AND LAZY ...... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE.”
Stallone’s rep confirmed to Huffington Post that the tweet was directed at Willis, but did not offer any further details.
The Expendables 3 is set to begin production this month, HuffPo notes. Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes and Milla Jovovich are set to join the cast. The film is slated to hit theaters August 2014.
