For fans of Tina Fey and 30 Rock, the upcoming television season is going to be a long one with her and the acclaimed show she created. But her brand of humor may be back soon, since she’s reunited with members of her 30 Rock team to develop a new workplace comedy for NBC.

According to Deadline, Fey and 30 Rock co-showrunner Robert Carlock are producing a new show from Colleen McGuinness, who worked as a writer and producer on 30 Rock. Fey and Carlockar producing with Universal Television, where they both have overall deals.

McGuinness’ project is said to be similar to Cheers (another classic NBC show), with a young woman trying to reconnect with her father. She soon fits in with a new home and family on Fire Island.

This will be Fey’s first project since she signed a four-year deal with Universal TV in September 2012, just before 30 Rock’s last season kicked off. Clearly, NBC loves working with Fey, who gained fame for her work on Saturday Night Live.

30 Rock’s final season picked up 13 Emmy nominations, including a nomination for Fey as Outstanding Lead Actress in a comedy and Outstanding Comedy series.
