On an average day, Twitter consists of a variety of tweets— from random thoughts and photos to news sharing and commentary, etc. But when a big event occurs or a news story breaks, Twitter is filled with relevant tweets. Last night's MTV Video Music Awards show was one of those events. With all the surprising—and unsurprising—winners, the wacky performance from Lady Gaga, the extremely racy show Miley Cyrus put on, the 'NSYNC reunion, and everything in between, Twitter was ablaze all day with reactions to the VMAs (see: #VMAs, #MTVVMA, #vmas2013, to name a few).
