Jack Black is one actor who has never been afraid to push the lines of physical comedy. Born in California, he attended UCLA and was a member of future actor Tim Robbins’ acting troupe while there. Though he’s known for his in-your-face, raunchy comedic style, Black is also the lead singer for the rock comedy band Tenacious D. Yet, being married and being the father of two sons, Black’s offbeat comedy has never waned. In addition to his comedic roles, he’s done voiceover work and tried his hand at slightly more dramatic roles and the occasional romantic comedy, the latter, IMO, with startlingly positive results. A member of what the media has dubbed the “Frat Pack,” Black joins fellow comedians Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, brothers Owen and Luke Wilson and Steve Carell.
