A wedding day should be beautiful, it should be awesome, and everything should be perfect. Is it ever, though?
Not usually.
Maybe the little ring bearer stops halfway down the aisle to say hello to a grandparent, or the best man has three-too-many beers before giving his speech and goes into a little too much detail about the night he introduced the now happy couple to each other.
Or maybe someone giggles a little during the ceremony. Or a lot, and can’t stop laughing, and that person is none other than the bride! And who’s she laughing at? The groom.
We’ve all probably been to a wedding where something little didn’t go entirely perfectly, but aren’t we lucky those really awful ones made it on YouTube? So we can, y’know, make sure those disasters don’t happen on our own special days.
10. Bride can’t stop laughing after her groom messes up
You’re sitting around having a conversation with your friends or family, and suddenly someone says something that is beyond hilarious to you at that point, but probably only mildly funny to the rest of the crowd. You can’t help it, you start heaving and hawing with laughter, unable to catch your breath, eventually dissolving into a shaking, teary pile of inaudible laughter.
Maybe it didn’t get that bad for you, but this bride comes dangerously close to that point.
9. Wedding party loses one during the ceremony
It’s a big day. You’re standing in your buddy’s wedding. You’ve watched the couple grow together and move in together - maybe you were even there when he proposed over a year ago, and today it’s finally happening. It’s a lot of pressure, but not really for you... so why do you feel so faint?
8. Bride and groom lose their wedding cake just before carving it
I have only one question for the location this couple held their event: whose idea was it to put the wedding cake on a rickety little card table?
7. Bride loses her balance - and a little more before getting to the end of the aisle.
Everything is ready for this bride - The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” is being piped through the hall, she’s surrounded by flowers, her friends are clapping, but then the unthinkable happens - her shoe gets caught on her skirt, and as she fumbles with her skirt, her flowers, and the man on her arm, still, for some reason, a handful of guests continue to clap.
6. Photographer trips and gets baptised just after the ceremony
The ceremony is done! The first moments of marriage are here, and they are sweet. Full of clapping family members and friends, and bright flashing lights from cameras. The person who was probably blinded the most, though, wasn’t the bride or groom.
5. The first dance that almost wasn’t
Almost six minutes of “technical difficulties” and “trying to find everything” from the DJ results in one of the most painful wedding disaster videos on the Internet.
4. A beach wedding gets waves of guests
It’s hard to say no to Mother Nature, especially when she wants to come to your wedding.
3. While taking pictures for the wedding, the groom gets a little too excited
Facebook is full of cool pictures taken between the ceremony and the reception. Sometimes, the party tries to get a picture of everyone jumping in the air. Other times, it’s reenacting a famous photograph or painting, even performing ”hadokening” for a cool picture.
But there’s always that one guy who’s got to stand out, who wants to have the best picture... and he probably doesn’t deserve what ends up happening to him.
2. Grandma tosses the wrong cup after the wedding
Have you ever been holding trash in one hand, and something else in the other hand, and you move to toss the trash but throw the other thing away instead? Grandma knows this feeling well, unfortunately it was at her granddaughter’s wedding.
1. Best man trips and takes out not one but two members of the wedding party
This video made it to the #1 spot because of one thing: hope. There’s a couple milliseconds in this 44 second video where you think they might recover - things might not be as bad as they could get, until they get 10 times worse than what you were expecting.
