Fiona’s first call is from Gina - they’ve planned to have drinks, Gina a mocktail, and Fiona probably something very strong to talk to her boyfriend’s soon-to-be bride. Gina has grown teeth - she wants to have her classic-style wedding in Rome, just like the Greeks, and she refuses to do it any other way. Fiona thinks it would be a great idea and encourages her to do as she pleases and get her demands met. Gina also wants Fiona to be her maid of honor, and offers to get her an eclair in Paris for her maid of honor gift.
Fiona’s still in deep with the government and nothing she does is helping. She can’t remember the passwords to any accounts, so she gets in contact with her husband, Kip. Apparently Kip put the account information in his briefcase before cleaning out the office. He’s speaking low because his boyfriend is nearby, but nevertheless his boyfriend still hears, comes over, and begins to berate Fiona for being in contact with Kip. Kip lets it slip that he’s not sleeping - obviously he’s not happy, but he can’t talk about it while his boyfriend is around.
Fiona calls Jerome to ask about where all the contents of the office is - specifically the briefcase. For some reason, Jerome is at Fiona’s home in New York. Haley, apparently, is staying at Fiona’s for some time to take care of the apartment, even though the musical is off. Fiona doesn’t want Haley living there while she’s not there, but there are some things of Kip’s at the apartment. Apparently, rubber sheets have been put on the bed and there’s lots of “personal hygiene products” leading into the master bedroom. Before the call is over, Jerome tries answering the door because he hears someone saying “I’m coming” from the next room. Fiona finally gets the information from Jerome about the briefcase, and he finds it on Ebay. He says he’s going to snipe it, so at the last minute, he’ll put in a huge bid. Jerome and Fiona started talking and they miss the moment to snipe it. Instead, it was purchased by another user named “Karen4Kip.”
Fiona gets the Skype information for the user Karen4Kip and finds that she’s in a room filled with campaign memorabilia. Karen is freaking out a bit from getting a call from Kip’s wife, and Fiona’s first reaction is asking if she’s a hoarder. Karen says she’s just a little “indoorsy.” Karen is worried about Kip because he’s been out of the media for a while, ever since the homosexual sex scandals and video footage. Fiona then asks Karen if she can have the briefcase back - she’ll pay her $200 for it. Karen refuses to give up the briefcase, and before leaving the call, asks Fiona how many times she had “the big sex” before she was with Kip. Fiona tells her she saved herself for Kip because he was her first love, and Karen tells her that she is also saving herself for Kip. Fiona tells Karen that she’ll be there first thing in the morning with Kip’s not-yet-washed running shorts, in hopes to make an exchange for the briefcase and the papers inside giving her information to the accounts.
