This week on America’s Next Top Model, the models posed on a farm and then got acrylic nail art, which they showed off in a photo shoot. At the end, though, two models were sent home.

Last week, Cory won the best video for his perfume commercial, and he chose Jiana, who was at the bottom last time, to share the Tyra suite. While Cory and Jiana were picking clothes out of the Tyra suite closet, Phil busted in and started flirting with Jiana, who he definitely has a crush on, even though he has a girlfriend at home. The romantic tension didn’t end there, though. Chris and Nina have been tight since the beginning of the competition, and this week he told her that he loves and genuinely care about her – whether or not he meant as a friend, we’re not so sure. Jeremy also had a crush in the house – Jourdan who is also taken.

The tensions were running high, but some of the guys decided to lighten the mood by playing a prank on the girls, taping their clothing, shoes, and underwear around their bedroom with masking tape. It didn’t have the effect the men wanted, though. The girls just laughed at the lame prank and decided they needed to stick together as ladies.

Soon, the models were all driven to a farm were their challenge would take place. Jackie Fraser-Swan, whose grandfather is the famous writer Ralph Waldo Emerson, created an Emerson clothing line. The models would be modeling the clothes in a shoot which they picked the clothes, the concept, and photo for themselves. Kanani, Renee, and Jourdan grouped together and decided on a photo shoot where they posed as three orphans who are adopted by a farmer and are fixing a tractor together. In the next group, Jeremy was a rich farmer and Nina was his wife, who was sleeping with the farmhands, Don and Marvin, behind his back. In the last group, Cory posed as an extraterrestrial who is discovered by farmers Jiana, Chris, and Phil. Phil’s ADHD got in the way of the group when he took scissors to a designer shirt and then broke one of the farm’s fences. In the end, the all-girl team of Kanani, Renee, and Jourdan won the challenge. The judges scolded Phil for damaging property, and didn’t like that Jeremy’s group didn’t have the Emerson women’s clothing in their photo.

Back at the house, the boys decided to step up their pranking. They knew Kanani was scared of clowns, so they snuck into her room in the middle of the night and put a wind-up doll clown in her bed. Little did they know just how bad Kanani’s phobia really was. When the clown woke her up, she cried hysterically and even needed to use her inhaler.

The next day, the models headed to a photo shoot, where they would be showing off designer nail art and posing solo for the first time. The guys weren’t sure about having their nails done, but they rocked them just as well as the girls in their photos. During the shoot, a lot of the models were distracted by the drama in the house. Nina and Chris, who got in a fight for the first time, were both unfocused while posing. Similarly, Jeremy couldn’t concentrate after Jourdan told him off. Kanani was also still having anxiety from the clown prank the night before.

Finally, it was time for panel where not one but two of the models would be eliminated. The best photo and the highest score this week went to Jourdan, with Marvin right on her heels. Cory, who was in first place last week, was in third this time. The bottom three models were Phil, Kanani, and Jeremy. Jeremy had the lowest score and was the first to be sent home – although he had the best body of the men, his face was continuously weak in photographs. The next model who was sent home was Kanani. Her eyes looked dead in the photo from this week, even though her other photos were pretty good. Kanani broke down, and the guys felt horrible for the clown prank they pulled, which is probably the reason she didn’t take a good photo and was eliminated from the competition.

Catch the nine remaining models next Friday on the CW at 9/8c.
