Frank Gore had his first 100-yard rushing game this season to help the Niners get a much needed W.

After Frank Gore had a few choice words for head coach Jim Harbaugh following their last game, he got some more carries Thursday and made a huge impact on this game. Gore only had three carries in the second half of Sunday's game, and he wasn't happy about it. He showed everyone why he had a right to be angry rushing for 153 yards including a 34-yard touchdown run.

According to SF Gate Gore's 153 yards matched his 5th-highest total in his career. It was also 11 yards more than he had in his first three weeks this season.

"We had to get back on track and just be us," Gore said. "That's playing smash-mouth football, playing great defense, playing great special teams. That's what we do."

The Niners got back to the ground and pound game that worked so well for them in the past two seasons.

NY Times reports that Colin Kaepernick threw two touchdown passes and Anquan Boldin had five catches for 90 yards and a TD. On the defensive side of the ball the 49ers had five sacks and Navarro Bowman had two of them.
