Alec Baldwin is a proud second-time father of his little girl with wife Hilaria, Carmen Gabriela. The 30 Rock star is showing off a more sensitive side in a new interview with Extra, during which the couple welcomed cameras into their NYC home and introduced the world to their daughter.
He beamed, "I am so lucky and blessed, all those things everybody feels when you have a baby and you want to have that family." He also gushed to Extra about wanting his daughter to look like his wife, saying "What a waste of time it would be to marry a women like that and have the kid look like me.”
Baldwin married the yoga instructor in June of last year after meeting in 2011.
Hilaria gave birth to Carmen on Aug. 23 in Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
She’s settling into motherhood wonderfully, gushing . “Honestly, it’s a dream come true. Every single day I have trouble sleeping because I just want to look at her, and every single day you wake up and it’s Christmas,” adding, “It’s a love that hurts. I want to make sure she’s okay, every single step of the way… it’s just absolutely indescribable.”
The couple did their photoshoot as a family for People during the visit.
Baldwin also said of his daughter Ireland, 17, with ex-wife Kim Basigner, that she’s “well-adjusted and as happy as one can be.”
