Acting veteran Sally Struthers’ DUI case has been dropped, as the former All in the Family star has struck up a plea deal with prosecutors.

She will be responsible for paying $1,000 in fees and fines and has pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of driving to endanger. Struthers’ driver’s license will also be suspended for 30 days, as part of the terms of the plea deal.

She never had to appear in court for the deal, as Portland Press Herald reports the 66-year-old actress’ attorney, John Webb, appeared in York County Superior on Aug. 28 on his client’s behalf. If it went to trial, it wouldn’t have been scheduled until Sept. 23.

Struthers was in Maine at the time of her arrest to perform at the Ogunquit Playhouse in 9 to 5. She was arrested for OUI, operating under the influence about a year ago.
Her rep issued a statement at the time, saying “Sally is working and she is fine andshe loves The Ogunquit Playhouse and her yearly time in Ogunquit. We deny these charges.”
