Amanda Bynes has reportedly left the UCLA Medical Center for a treatment facility in Malibu called The Canyon that mostly accommodates people in the public eye.
Doctors reportedly placed the former What I Like About You actress on what’s called an LPS because they believe she’s still in a fragile state and has some more progress to make in regards to her mental health.
According to TMZ, the move is a bit of a surprise because the new rehab center does not have the same psychiatric facilities that UCLA was providing her. She is said to mostly keep to herself, not interacting with many other people.
Sources also said she’s “paranoid” about paparazzi because she isn’t wearing her now famous wig.
Perez Hilton notes Bynes, 27, has been at the upscale treatment center for about three weeks now.
As we previously reported, Bynes was deemed unfit to stand trial for her pending DUI case. Her lawyer reportedly thinks she lacks the mental capacity to understand her legal proceedings.
