America’s Got Talent has its second semi finals. Only six of the twelve acts performing will move on. The first act of the night is D’Angelo and Amanda. They are the tween dancing duo. They did a Michael Jackson routine. I thought it was excellent especially at the end of their routine because they had water on the floor. This could have been dangerous because they could have slipped. Mel B said the routine only caught her eye when they hit the water. Howie thought they made a good routine but was not better than last time. Howard said they did up their game. Heidi called them fierce.

Marty Brown, the country singer, was the next contestant. There is much controversy with Marty because first time around he made a few mistakes in his performance but still went through. The pressure is on this time. He did a much better job, however I don’t think it was enough. Mel B tells him it was a lot better than last time and calls him a likable guy. Heidi tells him 100% better this time. Howard applauded him for playing for the audience not just his wife. Following Marty were the Chicago Boyz. Last time, one of the members broke his ankle. This means he could not join the boys in the competition. He did many of the main tricks. The rest of the guys will need to step it up. They definitely brought it and nailed it. All four judges stood up. They did a fantastic job. Howard told them they did their injured member proud. They never disappoint. Heidi tells them she can see the joy in their face and loves it. Mel B said she didn’t think they were going to pull it off, but that was off the hook! Howie tells them they are a headline act and they should go on.

The next contestant is Howard Stern’s wildcard act. They are Illusionist Leon Etienne and Romy Low. They did various tricks in 90 seconds. Howard said he’s really glad he brought them back. He told them they came out and did trick after trick and that is remarkable. Heidi told them they wowed her. Mel B told them they deserve to be here. Howie said he must give Howard Stern a standing ovation, and they decide to hug it out and give each other a kiss! The judges brought the laughs and this act brought the magic.

Anna Christine is the next act onstage. This little girl has an old soul. This time she took the stage and owned it. Mel B tells her the quality of her performance is bloody fantastic. Howie tells her wow and she has a terrific sound. Howard can’t believe she is 11 years old. Heidi tells her she is a superstar. The next contestant is a judge favorite. Kenichi Ebina. He is remarkable; I can’t even describe what his performance is about. He incorporates dance, technology, storytelling in one of the most unique and memorable way. All four judges gave him a standing ovation. Howie calls Kenichi the best talent in the world and tells him he should win a million dollars. Howard tells him he must applaud him and loves him. Heidi tells him he is elevating dance to another level and calls him genius. Mel B tells him its mind blowing and wants to see his show in Vegas.
John Wing the comedian is next onstage. He is a funny man. He uses his life experiences and jokes about them. Howard calls him a pro, and America should vote for him. Heidi tells him he likes him and he’s a man’s man. Mel B tells him he is spot on. Howie tells him he does it effortlessly and loves him. The next contestant is Branden James. He is an opera singer and one of my favorites. He takes a chance and sings in Spanish. Heidi tells him he has the total package. Mel B tells him he is very good looking and he is a great singer. Howard tells him he has the most powerful voice in the competition but he doesn’t think his performance was as passionate.
The next act is the acrobatic duo, the Kristef Brothers. They were originally scheduled to perform last week but they had an accident. However, this time they are ready and will try the same trick that caused the accident. Everyone was on the edge of their seats. They did a magician theme show. Heidi tells them they are amazing and wants them to win. Mel B tells them she would take her kids to see their show any day. Howard tells them they are comedians and their strength is inspirational.
The next act is the American Military Spouses. Their story and talent is good but I was a little bored. Especially after seeing other great individual singers earlier in the show. Heidi tells them they are amazing. Howard tells them their performance was pleasant but doesn’t know if it was the best of the best. Mel B tells them the competition in singing is through the roof. She tells them what they do is really good but is it good enough? She doesn’t know. The next act is the acrobatic artist Timber Brown. His act consisted him to use a rope hanging from the ceiling and twirling with it then letting himself fall in a tank of water. He had some complication with rope but he did pull it off like a pro. Howie tells America to vote! Howard tells him the danger is up because of the water but doesn’t think it was as exciting as other performances. Heidi agrees with Howard, she doesn’t think the act did him justice. Mel B tells him it was intense and dangerous.

The final act of the night is Jimmy Rose. He is a country singer. He’s great at what he does but after seeing so many great acts, I’m not sure if it was enough. Heidi tells him he did a good job but it will be a tough night. Mel B told him he sang with such emotion and told him well done. Howie tells him he did well but this night a lot of the acts did great too. Howard tells him it was a nice performance but he was not blown away.

America will have a tough time voting on only 6 contestants. Who will America chose? We find out tonight on the results show. AGT airs Tuesday and Wednesday night’s on NBC.
