Dancing with the Stars professional Anna Trebunskaya won't be joining the show for the 17th season, but for good reason – she's got a bun in the oven.
This season's participants were announced this morning, but the Russian dancer wasn't one of them, reports USA Today.
Although she found out about the pregnancy at the end of the last DWTS season, it came as a big surprise. "It wasn't planned, but when it happened, I thought, 'This is perfect — I'm ready to be a mom,'” Trebunskaya admitted to US Weekly.
After she ended her marriage of nine years with DWTS professional Jonathan Roberts last year, she won't admit who the father of her baby is.
Trebunskaya has all the excitement of a new mommy-to-be. "This is something really good for me and fulfilling, and it'll give me a whole new meaning in life. I'm really looking forward to it."
Trebunskaya is now four months into her pregnancy, but she knows she will miss her fellow dancers on the show this season.
“I’ll miss it a lot, but I’ll still be around visiting,” she said. “I’ll be their biggest cheerleader.”
The 17th season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars premieres September 16.
