Anne Hathaway's Brooklyn apartment is on the market at $4.5 million. The actress never lived in the apartment, but rather used it as her closet to store clothes.

According to
Realty Today, the apartment was too spacious for Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman. Instead, the couple rented a smaller apartment in the Clocktower Building and just kept Hathaway's clothes and accessories in the larger apartment.

An insider told Yahoo! Homes that “she didn’t like the unit. It was too big, and she felt she was too visible.”

The newly-listed apartment is 2592 square feet with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It features high ceilings, hardwood floors and an incredible view of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building.

Another insider revealed that The Devil Wears Prada star “doesn’t want to be recognized and believes that she has too high a profile to be able to live in [Manhattan].” Hathaway is currently looking for another apartments in Brooklyn.
