It's no news that Ben Affleck has been getting loads of criticism for putting on the cowl and becoming the caped crusader. There's even a petition on change.org that has 90,000 signatures so far. Affleck known for his recent comeback, especially in directing (The Town, and best picture winner Argo) will be facing off head to head with Henry Cavil's Superman in the next installment of the Man of Steel films.

Affleck told late night host Jimmy Falon according to The Guardian that "I'm a big boy," he laughed. "They said just don't use the Internet for a couple of day. I handle shit. I'm very tough." Clearly Affleck is not phased by the criticism and can easily shake it off. He also went on to say in regards to some of the nastier remarks, "You can't say that before a movie comes out. It doesn't matter what you think then, it matters what you think when you see the movie."

In another article by US Entertainment Affleck also said, "If I can handle an Oscar snub, I can handle anything." Affleck is in good spirits about the haters, and looks to be a fine contender for the next crusader. Remember all the backlash Heath Ledger got for the Joker? That turned around pretty quickly. Let's hope the same for Mr. Affleck.
