The 2013 Emmy Awards aired on Sunday, September 22, and it was quite the spectacle. Host Neil Patrick Harris, who hosted the 2009 Emmys and has hosted four Tony Awards, kicked off the show with a television binge-watching bit. He then hit the stage and was joined by past hosts including Jimmy Fallon and Conan O'Brien. The opening act ended with the 2013 Golden Globe hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler heckling Harris to take his pants off and "twerk it," and eventually they joined him on stage as the first presenters.

The remainder of the show was full of memorable moments: utterly shocking wins and upsets (i.e. Jeff Daniels of The Newsroom beating heavily favored Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series), probably the shortest and greatest speech—or non speech—in award show history, photo-bombing, a public service announcement spoof by Harris and his How I Met Your Mother costars, a number of eulogies and tributes for the departed, and Harris' mid-show dance number.

Inevitably, the day after was rife with twitter reactions, thank yous, and photos from the show. Here are the best celebrity Tweets of Monday, September 23, about the 2013 Emmy Awards.
