Blake Shelton is showing more of his good-natured rivalry with fellow The Voice mentor Adam Levine. While on the Today Show to promote the new season, which features original mentors Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green back in action, Shelton says he likes to rub his three wins in the others’ faces.
"I live to make him feel bad about himself," he joked about the Maroon 5 frontman. "I would say where there's smoke, there's fire. We're very attracted to each other. I'm already married, so it's never going to work out."
Shelton went on to say that Levine, Aguilera and Green are “my competition,” saying, "I don't care if they like it or not,” E! Online reports.
He went on to admit Levine had some “good points” when persuading the contestants to join his team, saying, "He threw out some stuff about the NBA and how nobody's ever won four of anything in a row—I can't remember what these stats were—but he actually got in some people's heads and stole some people."
