It's that time of year again!

Tonight, the moment we've all been waiting for, Bones is back! Catch the Season 9 premiere episode, "Secrets in Proposal" below!

VICTIM: Jonas Adele
SCENE OF THE CRIME: An Air Conditioning/Ventilation System on the roof of a hotel
SQUIDTERN: Daisy Wick

The episode begins with Booth confessing to a former priest (and current bartender) that he had known during his time in the army. Booth is feeling guilty about lying to Bones about why he called off the marriage. Limited by Pelant's ultimatum, Booth is unable to tell her the truth.

They go into a technology free room, where they will be free of Pelant's undoubtful spying. Booth immediately explains Pelant's threat, while the bartender tries to think of ways to find a loophole.

In the next scene, Booth is with Caroline and Sweets. They can both sense Booth's unease and unhappiness, but report of a dead body interrupts them, and Booth is sent to the scene of the crime.

A body has been thrown off a hotel roof into an air-conditioner where the body was completed disintegrated.

Camille approaches Booth, and asks why he called off the wedding. Of course he isn't able to answer.

"You're going to lose her" she says.

Sweets and Booth go to interrogate the hotel manager, and demand to see the hotel logs. After some convincing, he cooperates. It is then discovered that the victim reserved the room under a fake persona. He had reserved the room directly above the roof's air conditioning unit.

Bones searches the room for evidence, and the unease between her and Booth is obvious.

Trying to alleviate the tension, Booth says, "I'd die for you. I love you."

Conveniently, Bones finds blood and the conversation is avoided all-together.

Daisy and Hodgins search air conditioner and find an artificial ear piece, called a stapes. This allows the victim to be identified as Jonas Adele.

Booth and Sweets go to investigate. Angela, angry with Booth for hurting Brennan, calls with vital information; however, when woman named Lily speaks of another call from Angela, Booth becomes suspicious and takes her in for questioning. Her boss is not pleased with this thought, and offers her assistance in finding a lawyer.

However, she certainly doesn't need it as we later discover that her lawyeris also her mother. She refuses to let Lily answer any questions. She does manage to deny sleeping with Jonas and states that he didn't deserve to die.

Later, in the lab, everyone urges Bones to have lunch with Booth. When they go to lunch, they can only talk about Christine comfortably. Unavoidably, the conversation heads to Booth's little secret. Bones wants the truth, but as well all know, Booth can't reveal any information without the lives of five innocents being lost.

"Truth is best. You taught me that." Bones says.

Booth and Sweets return to the scene of the crime, where Sweets is knocked on his back by a mystery assailant. Booth begins a pursuit; yet, he is revealed to be Danny Beck, a CIA operative and former comrade to Booth.

We then discover that the victim, Jonas, was with the CIA. Angela checks the computer and printer in the room, but the RAM has been wiped clean. She is able to re-create the last image the printer printed, a photo of sexual congress between an H. Kleftner and a woman, presumed to be Lily.

Booth returns to Clemmons (bartender/former priest) to confess yet again, but is interrupted by an angry phone call from Angela.

Meanwhile, Daisy and Bones are in the lab, and they discover that the cause of death was two consecutive blows to the head.

When Booth brings Lily back into questioning with her mother, he pleads that she help him find Jonas' killer. Kicking her mother out of the room, she agrees to help.

With new evidence from both Lily's help and the interrogation of Kleftner, Booth proceeds to arrest her mother.

While she is in custody, Daisy, Angela and Bones go to dinner and discuss the stages of love. It is obvious that she is looking for a scientific phenomenon to describe what is happening between her and Booth. Angela and Daisy comfort her.

Cam is even on Booth's side when she tells Bones to have faith in Booth.

"You're miserable. That's love." She says.

To switch things up, this time Bones goes to confession. She speaks to the bartender, who immediately recognizes her as Booth's girlfriend. How a religious figure, of all others, is able to get through to Brennan, I'm not sure, but sure enough, she trusts him.

Later, Lily's lawyer mom is found innocent, leaving Lily's boss as the prime suspect for his defensive reaction to Lily's arrest.

After receiving a warrant, the FBI search his office, and find the murder weapon, and he confesses.

Danny Beck from the CIA visits Booth in his office, and offers him a job, to which Booth responds, "If things keep going the way they are around here, I might just take you up on that."

Booth and Brennan return home, and she tells him that she trusts him, and the two make up. The scene concludes by fading from the happy couple to the radio in the room, indicating that Pelant is probably watching.

Is Booth going to join the CIA? Will they catch Pelant? What's he going to do next? Find out next week on Bones when Booth and Brennan go undercover yet again as Tony and Roxy.
