In an episode of Jesse vs. Walt, Jesse wins. Walt has always been ahead of everyone around him but its Jesse this time that tricks Walt and gets the upper hand.
From last weeks stinker of an episode, this weeks installment of Breaking Bad is as good as it gets.
To get to the point, "To Hajiilee" ended with Walt on the ground of a car while Hank and Gomez is in a intense battle with Todd, his uncle and the rest of the crew. So, how did they all end up here? All because of Jesse.
Jesse has the idea to bring in Saul's body guard, Huell, and ask him about where he put Hanks money. Huell spills the beans about the rental van and the shovel that Walt used. Hank and Jesse put their heads together and create a plan to find how where Walt's money is.
While Hank is interrogating Huell, Walt is at Andrea's (Jesse's ex girlfriend) working on his own strategy. Walt hopes to lure Jesse to Andrea's, so he can have Todd and his uncle kill him. What Walt doesn't know is that Jesse is with Hank and Jesse is going nowhere.
Walt receives a picture of money in a barrel that looks a lot like what he buried in the desert followed by a phone call by Jesse. Jesse explains to Walt that he found his money and if he doesn't meet him in the desert he is going to burn all money. Walt frantically speeds out to the desert, finally realizing that Jesse has tricked him.
With smoke flying in the air from an unknown car, Walt calls Todd's uncle and tells him that Jesse is in the desert. After he realizes that Jesse is with Hank and Gomez, Walt calls of the hit. Hank ends up giving himself up and Walt places him under arrest. As Walt is placed in the back of the car, Hank calls Maria and explains to her that they have Walt dead to rights. After the phone call, Todd's uncle and his entourage show up.
After Hank and Gomez decline to show I.D., the Aryans open fire.
What we don't know is who is going to die. What we do know is that Walt is going to make it out alive because of the previous episodes of a scraggly bearded Walt.
With only three episodes left, the ending of Breaking Bad is setting up to be more epic then any other series out there.
