Breaking Bad recorded 6.4 million viewers during Sunday night's episode, it's best ever by over a million.
The cable network episode saw an astonishing 6.4 million viewers, Vulture reports.
The AMC show broke its previous record of 5.9 million set only a few weeks ago for its half-season premiere. The show also set a record for the adults under 50 demo, with 4.1 million. With the exception of football, Breaking Bad blew everything else out of the water.
The show could reach even higher ratings over its last few episodes, though the finale will have to contend with the season premiere of Homeland.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, for adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 each set records for their demographics with 4.05 and 3.59 million viewers respectively.
AMC reported that SocialGuide found that the series had 604,765 mentions, and Aaron Paul surpassed 1 million followers as he live tweeted the episode.
While Breaking Bad might be ending in just a few weeks, last week AMC greenlit a spin-off called Better Call Saul serving as a prequel to the show.
