Josh Freeman is having problems with his relationship with coach Greg Schiano, which will probably lead to a trade.
League and team sources say that this relationship is beyond repair. It is likely that Freeman with request a trade before the trade deadline. There is a lack of trust between this coach and quarterback that is no secret.
According to NFL.com NFL media Insider Ian Rapport reported that despite the relationship problems, the team insists on the fact that Freeman is their starter.
The back up Mike Glennon, a rookie, is preparing to possibly start in the near future. CBS Sports reports that Glennon is apparently "Schiano's guy" within the Bucs organization.
Some teams who seem in need of a quarterback currently, are Minnesota, Tennessee, and Oakland. Freeman is still a very athletic player standing at 6-5 with a big time arm and being only 25 years of age. Through his first four years in the NFL, he has thrown for more yards, more touchdowns and less interceptions than Joe Montana and John Elway, to name a few, and fewer interceptions (18 fewer) than Peyton Manning.
