Chelsea Handler had a lot to say about Britney Spears’ announcement that she would be kicking off a 2-year Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood in December.
The Chelsea Lately host discussed the residency on her show on Tuesday, and while doing so, Handler dissed Spears’ parenting skills.
"They are shooting for a cool hip club-like show," she said, E! Online reports.
"She doesn't want to move to Vegas because she doesn't want to take her children out of school, cause she's a great mother,” adding sarcastically after a pause that the “Work Bitch” singer is "so good at being a mother."
She went on to critique her decision to, at this point in her career, sign on for a Vegas residency, saying “You just have to decide, if you want to go in the beginning when things really are bad, or, you want to go at the end of the run when things are just really, really f--ked up."
Spears confirmed her Vegas residency after months of rumors on Monday on GMA, saying about Sin City “the energy here is really, really good.”
She also said of her boys with ex-husband Kevin Federline, “Preston will probably be on stage but I think Jayden would have a hard time with it.”
