Ahmad Bradshaw suffered a neck injury and has been ruled out for Week 4.

Colts head coach Chuck Pagano made the announcement on Friday after Bradshaw missed practice all week. This means more carries for Trent Richardson, who just joined the Colts recently in a trade with the Browns.

According to Sports Illustrated Bradshaw has 186 yards and two touchdowns in his first season in Indianapolis, He spent the first six years of his career in New York with the Giants.

This week Richardson will get more of an opportunity to implement himself into this Colts offense and sort of get his footing with his new team. This could be bad for the injured Bradshaw, because it could be Richardson's chance to prove that he deserves majority of the carries. This could mark the end of Bradshaw's short time at the top of the Colts running backs depth chart.

CBS Sports reports that Pagano could not tell reporters how exactly Bradshaw got hurt, but said it was a "significant blow."
