Dave Chappelle is commenting on his walk-off last week in Hartford, Conn., when he stopped his routine and started reading from a book, causing some audience members to heckle, then boo, which angered the comedian.

The comedian was on the Funny or Die Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival on Thursday of last week when he exited the stage due to an unruly crowd. He now calls them "young, white alcoholics.”

During a performance in Chicago on Tuesday, Chappelle said of the incident, “I don't want anything bad to happen to the United States, but if North Korea ever drops a nuclear bomb on this country, I swear to God I hope it lands in Hartford, Connecticut,” The Hollywood Reporter writes.

He went on to cite the incident in 2006 in which Michael Richards, who played Kramer on Seinfeld, dropped some racial slurs on his audience.

"I wanted to pull a reverse Kramer and call 'em all crackers or something crazy like that," he said. "I know that shit'll be on YouTube. 'Funnyman Dave Chappelle calls a room full of white people "crackers." ' Couldn't do that. I felt bad when Kramer did that shit to us."
