Dina Lohan was arrested late Thursday in New York for a DWI after she failed a breathalyzer test.

Lindsay Lohan's mother's blood alcohol level registered at more than twice the legal limit, ABC News reports.

The 50-year-old was clocked going "77 mph in a 55 mph zone" at 11 p.m., a police statement notes. When pulled over, Lohan registered at a .20, which is more than double .08 percent legally allowed.

Lohan claimed that while she was being taken to Farmingdale for processing that she was injured while being arrested.

The police press statement said, "When emergency personnel arrived and evaluated Lohan, there were no injuries and she recanted her claim."

According to TMZ, Lohan was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated and one for speeding. She is expected to be in court later this month.

TMZ is reporting that Lohan has been partying quite hard lately, especially over the Labor Day weekend. At a party, sources are saying that she was drunk enough that her speech was slurred and she kept zoning out.

ABC notes this arrest comes just shortly after her daughter finished her court-mandated three month rehab stint at Cliffside Malibu.
