Elisabeth Hasselbeck is excited to begin her new post at Fox & Friends. The former View co-host appears in a new promo for the Fox morning talk show, where she raves about her new post and refers to her new co-hosts as “brothers.”
“I’d almost make the analogy that it’s being called up to play for one of your favorite teams in the major leagues,” Hasselbeck states as quoted by Entertainment Weekly. Hasselbeck made the transition from The View co-host onto Fox & Friends Monday morning after departing ways with The View in July, a place she called home for nearly a decade.
Hasselbeck joins Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade on the conservative viewpoint show where her views are surely to be more accepted. The blonde beauty was formally the subject of jabs on The View when her political viewpoints were often seen as far off.
EW notes that Fox & Friends is currently averaging 1.1 million viewers daily.
