The former editor of the French edition of the fashion magazine Vogue, Carine Roitfeld, said that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are just like anyone else.
People Magazine reports that while Roitfeld was at the premiere of her documentary film Mademoiselle C in New York City, she said of the power couple, "They are so normal. They are lovely together." How does Roitfeld know the rapping and reality television duo? Kardashian graced the cover of Roitfeld's magazine, which is the subject of the documentary film. It premiered on Friday, and the film chronicles how Roitfeld started a new venture, CR Fashion Book, after working at Vogue for 10 years.
Roitfeld only has good things to say about working with Kardashian. "She was one of the easiest models I have ever worked with," the magazine writer and fashionista said. "She's not a model, but she was pregnant, you know, and I love pregnant women. Honestly, she was very, very nice. She made no demands at all." According to the Huffington Post, the photos were shot by Karl Lagerfeld in May.
Kardashian was actually supposed to make her first post-baby appearance at the premiere, and even attend the after party at The Four Seasons, but she ended up canceling. Have no fear, though, because Kanye West did make an appearance. West, 36, was very late, but he is apparently a close friend of Roitfeld's. In fact, Roitfeld previously said that she knew West because he shared her love for fashion and met Kardashian through him.
