Gucci Mane was arrested in Atlanta on Saturday when one of his friends warned police about the rapper acting erratically. When cops approached him, he started to curse them out and they then discovered he was in possession of marijuana and a gun.
He was charged with having a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession and booked around 12am.
TMZ reports Gucci Mane, 33, born Radric Davis, was taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure.
As we a previously reported, the rapper concerned fans when he set out on a Twitter rant last week, tweeting 109 times about allegedly sleeping with Nicki Minaj and other women and dissing fellow rappers.
His account has since been deleted, and he claimed before he deleted it "My ex manager hack my acct str8 up.” The rapper just recently ended his contract at Atlantic Records.
Minaj responded to his allegations on Twitter, saying “May God strike me dead if I ever had sex wit that man #ugliness. He's sick and in dire need of rehab. #Love."
