Hayden Panettiere is opening up about the pressure many Hollywood starlets feel to maintain a picture perfect body.

According to E! Online the 24-year-old star revealed what life is like in the limelight.

“There is a lot of pressure that comes with it,” she said. “But there is also the pressure to be a good role model and have a normal, healthy body.”

The Nashville actress also revealed that she has a healthy view of her own body. “I love being my height and size, and representing a normal girl and a different body type.”

Panettiere is now using her role model status for a good cause. She’s joining the Blue Jeans Go Green “Great Denim Auction” by donating an autographed pair of jeans to raise awareness about textile recycling.

Fox News reports that thirteen other celebs are also joining the cause including Britney Spears, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, and Ryan Phillippe.

The blonde actress said, “You can donate the jeans you don’t want anymore and they turn them into insulation for you home. Instead of having toxic fiberglass in you rhome, you have recycled denim that [would otherwise be] in a landfill overflowing somewhere.”
