A woman who made several attempts to get into the Malibu home of actor John Cusack was arrested Tuesday.
According to law enforcement sources for TMZ, the woman tried to first climb in through the window, but was unable to. Later the Paperboy actor’s security spotted the woman climbing a fence. The guards detained her until police arrived a short time later.
Perez Hilton reports that the woman’s name is Elizabeth Pahlke. She was charged with felony stalking and burglary.
TMZ notes that Cusack’s security team already got a restraining order earlier Tuesday to keep Pahlke off the property. The details of the incident that lead to that move is unknown. She is being held on $150,000 bail.
Cusack was not at home at the time. The actor, who is best known for films like Say Anything..., Being John Malkovich and High Fidelity, recently appeared in Lee Daniels’ The Paperboy and plays Ronald Reagan in the director’s The Butler. He’s attached to several films that are in production, including the Beach Boys biopic Love & Mercy, in which he’ll play Brian Wilson.
