America soon may no longer be able to keep up with the Kardashians.
The power family’s contract with E! runs out in 2015, and there is talk of not continuing to do the show.
And with good reason. Kim Kardashian recently had her first child with Kanye West and Khloe’s husband Lamar Odom has recently revealed a struggle with drugs. Perez Hilton reports that the show has also dropped in ratings as well as product sales for the Kardashian line.
Kris Jenner and Kim are reportedly the ones who want to call it quits according to Huffington Post.
Kim wrote to fans on her blog, "I’m looking forward to the new season and beyond," she wrote on her Celebuzz blog. "The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don’t know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I’m looking forward to continuing this journey."
Not filming all the time will leave more availability for Kris to work on her talk show and other projects. Naughty but Nice Rob reports that a source confirmed Kris is hoping to produce movies. “She is telling everyone that one day she will have an Oscar”, the source revealed.
Rob also reports that “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is the biggest reality franchise of all time. And while it, and various spin-offs, has been America’s guilty pleasure for the last for six years, it might finally be time for them live without the cameras.
