Her older sister had the big day already, but could there be wedding bells for Pippa Middleton in the near future? The younger sister of Kate Middleton is said to be secretly engaged to her boyfriend.
The Huffington Post reports that the Duchess of Cambridge's little sister got engaged to her boyfriend Nico Jackson in June, but the official announcement will not come until this Friday.
The engagement was kept under wraps to keep the news from overshadowing the Duchess of Cambridge's delivery of her first child in July.
Jackson, 35, is a stockbroker. Middleton, 29, formerly worked for her parents' party planning business but is currently working for a British supermarket magazine and Vanity Fair.
Jackson and Middleton met at a London nightclub in 2012. The pair have been dating for seven months, but make no mistake, the relationship is more serious than any of Pippa's previous liaisons. They have vacationed with their families and visited with members of the royal family together.
A friend of Middleton's says that she "couldn't be more sure that Nico is the right man for her."
USA Today reports that Middleton is currently designing her engagement ring and planning a wedding for next spring. Apparently, the wedding will be at the local church near her family's home in Bucklebury and the reception will be at her parents' home itself.
Neither family has commented on reports of the engagement, but previously, Jackson's mother said, "They are happy, and that is all that matters. As long as my children are happy, then I am happy."
