A new report is suggesting that Hollywood veteran Jack Nicholson is retiring from acting. The actor is reportedly suffering from memory loss and can’t remember his lines.
A Hollywood insider claimed, “Jack has — without fanfare — retired. There is a simple reason behind his decision — it’s memory loss. Quite frankly, at 76, Jack has memory issues and can no longer remember the lines being asked of him.”
The alleged well-placed source also told RadarOnline his memory just “isn’t what it used to be.”
Nicholson, who has an impressive resume, was last seen in How Do You Know with Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson in 2010. He made his on-screen debut on 1958 in The Cry Baby Killer and has since won three Oscars.
Nicholson has won Oscars for Best Supporting Actor for One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest in 1976, 1984’s Terms of Endearment and Best Actor for 1998’s As Good As It Gets, Huffington Post reports.
Since 2003, he’s only been in five films -- Anger Management, Something's Gotta Give, The Departed, The Bucket List and How Do You Know.
