The Five Year Engagement actress Emily Blunt and The Office actor John Krasinski are expecting their first child.
A rep for the actress confirmed the news to Us Weekly . A source close to the couple notes that Blunt and Krasinkski, who wed in 2010, have been wanting to start a family for quite some time.
"They both want kids, it's one of the reasons they got a bigger place, in a neighborhood that you can raise a family," a source reveals. "They both couldn't be more excited."
Blunt previously discussed her desire to have children with her actor husband, telling Manhatten magazine, “We want to have children; I just don’t know when yet. I’m just not sure about the timing of all of that. We’re both from big families so I think it’s something we want.”
After ending his run as Jim Halpert on the longrunning comedy, The Office, Krasinski lent his voice to the recent animated hit Monsters University and the upcoming The Prophet.
Blunt will star in Edge of Tomorrow and Into the Woods.
