Johnathon Schaeh was just getting used to his new marriage with Julie Solomon, and now he's a daddy. The couple welcomed their son Camden Quinn Schaech into the world on Thursday.

Little Camden was born in L.A. At 2:50 a.m., according to US Weekly. The bundle of joy weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 19 inches.

Why Camden? “Julie came up with ‘Camden’ — she had no idea my hometown team played at Camden Yards,” Schaech told People. “We have my team pennant hanging up in the baby room.” Camden's middle name is Quinn after Solomon's grandmother's maiden name.

Schaech owes a lot of his parenting skills to his character on Showtime's Ray Donovan. While playing Sean Walker – also a new dad – on the show, he learned how to hold a baby's head up.

When the 44-year-old actor thinks back to his own childhood, he knows he will be a great father because of the way his parents brought him up. "My parents instilled something greater than myself. They instilled faith in me."

The couple, who got married in a small ceremony in July, is overjoyed about the new addition to their family.
