If you haven’t had a chance to see Joseph Gordon Levitt in Don Jon yet, you can see the star in a hilarious lip sync battle on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
The popular set on the late night show features celebrities lip synching one at a time to a song of their choice. Monday night’s battle included, Levitt, host Jimmy Fallon, and comedic writer Stephan Merchant. Merchant created the game with The Office star John Krasinski and his wife, Emily Blunt.
Merchant gave rather intense performances of “Boom! Shake the Room” and “Single Ladies,” while Fallon stuck to classic 80s hits like “Don’t You Want Me” and “Take on Me.”
Levitt’s first song was Elton John’s classic, “Tiny Dancer.” He passionately lip sang into the microphone, before knee sliding up to the camera. His commitment was impressive, but his lip singing skills truly shined in his second performance.
Levitt tackled “Superbass” by Niki Minaj. Not only could the 32 year-old-actor actor keep up with Minaj’s fast-paced lyrics, but he even imitated her dancing. Levitt’s performance left Fallon’s house band, The Roots, in awe, the NY Daily News reports.
