Julianne Hough is preparing to return to Dancing with the Stars this season – but as a judge.

The two-time Mirror Ball trophy champion will sit beside Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba on October 7 as a guest judge, reports The Wrap.

Although the show does not usually host guest judges, Hough will be filling in for Len Goodman while he takes a break from the show to judge the British version of Strictly Come Dancing.

According to Zap2It, the professional dancers are excited for the Footloose actress' return to the show – especially her brother, Derek Hough, who said, "she's gonna kill me. She's gonna absolutely kill me. She's gonna be all like, 'Remember that time when we were kids when you pulled the head of my Barbie? Guess what? 4! That's what you get!'"

When he stopped joking around, the professional dancer said of his sister, "she'll be an amazing judge. She's been on the show before and was amazing on the show. And she's got a really good mind and a phenomenal eye, and she's gonna judge it fairly."

Hough left the show after Season 7 to pursue an acting career and has since appeared in Safe Haven, Rock of Ages, Footloose and Burlesque. Her next project is the Diablo Cody film Paradise, where she'll star with Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer.

DWTS airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m.
