Big Brother host Julie Chen revealed that she had plastic surgery on her eyes to enlarge her “Asian Eyes.”

According to New York Daily News, Chen and the rest of the ladies of The Talk took turns revealing secrets during Thursday’s episode.

Chen explained that she became aware of her eyes at age 25 when her boss told her that her Asian heritage was holding her back from progressing in the career world.

:He said, 'Let's face it Julie, how relatable are you to our community?" she recalled. "How big of an Asian community do we have in Dayton? On top of that, because of your Asian eyes, I've noticed that when you're on camera, you look disinterested and bored.'"

Chen went on to explain that she then sought out an agent to help her grow in her field but he too told that she would not be able to make it unless she has plastic surgery. He said, 'I cannot represent you unless you get plastic surgery to make your eyes look bigger.'"

"After I had it done, the ball did roll for me," she continued. "And I wondered, 'Did I give in to the man?'"

"I have to live with every decision that I've made … And it got me to where we are today. And I'm not going to look back."

Chen previously expressed how Big Brother contestant Aaryn Gries’ racist comments stung and reminded her of a time when she was bullied.
