Kelly Osbourne filed a lawsuit against her former landlord – she is aiming to win both her security deposit and her dignity back.
According to TMZ, Osbourne put a $18,700 security deposit down on an apartment that has housed other celebrities as well, including Lindsay Lohan, Adam Lambert and Brody Jenner.
When the E! Star moved out of the building, her landlord never inspected it. Later, the didn't return any of her deposit later because of damages found in the West Hollywood apartment and cleaning expenses. When the landlord sent Osbourne an email listing a total estimate for the damages to the computer.
California law states that if a landlord wrongfully keeps a security deposit, the leasee can claim twice that amount. Osbourne is allegedly not only suing for that full amount back, but also for punitive damages for accusing her of being a slob, reports The Wrap. The Fashion Police star was offended by the accusation that she lived like a pig, and plans on getting revenge on the landlord.
