Kelly Ripa showed off her new short hairdo Tuesday morning to launch the second season of Live with Kelly and Michael.
Although her chin-length hair is much shorter than last year's long, curly locks, she took the length up slowly, according to USA Today. In July 2012, she strutted a shoulder-length do around the town. Apparently the talk show host couldn't part with all of her hair at once. This is the shortest she's gone so far, though.
Ripa took to Twitter to tell her fans and followers that she is “back in the saddle...with a new cut!” Twitter users expressed their approval of the new bob, several even saying they want to style their hair after hers. But Ripa's own mother prefers long hair on her daughter.
The 42-year-old and her co-host, Michael Strahan, celebrated their show's one-year anniversary as well, after a break over the summer, reports Mail Online.
