Kelsey Grammer will join the likes of Sly Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, and Jet Li for another Expendables outing. Grammer will play a character named Bonaparte. He will be a mercenary who assists the crew in whatever explosive mission they find themselves into this time around. Patrick Helms will be directing this third installment and will hit theaters on August 15, 2014.

Grammer is known for playing the lead in the hit show Fraser and many other minor roles such as X-Men 3: The Last Stand, and according to Total Film this will be the second franchise that Grammer is going to be apart of this year. With him joining the cast of Transformers 4:The Age of Extinction recently as well, expect to see him showing frequently now that Starz has cancelled their show Boss due to ratings.

Originally the role was going to be played by Nicolas Cage, but according to Deadline that was just a rumor now as Grammer closes in on the deal. This is also in recent news that Bruce Willis is no longer in Expendables 3 and Harrison Ford will be taking that place, the cast looks to be locked down now, and with these confirmations expect an even beefier and action packed adventure for guys-night-out.
