A teaser trailer for National Geographic and Fox's Killing Kennedy has been released.
The TV movie, based on the Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard book, is focused on the day of President John F. Kennedy's assassination, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Rob Lowe plays Kennedy. Ginnifer Goodwin and Michelle Trachtenberg also star in the film.
The teaser is short and shows Lowe as Kennedy giving a speech on the morning of his assassination, scenes with him and his wife and a slow motion bit where the president is clearly in the motorcade.
E! Online notes the teaser was released on the Kennedy's "diamond" wedding anniversary.
According to the WSJ, the movie debuts in the middle of the JFK 50th anniversary and other movies and series will be released around the same time. A Tom Hanks produced film Parkland, PBS' Cold Case: JFK and ReelzChannel's documentary JFK: The Smoking Gun are all due out.
Rob Lowe has previously talked about the movie, brushing aside comments on O'Reilly. He said conservative writer stuck to the facts and that O'Reilly was devoted "to the memory of John F. Kennedy."
Killing Kennedy debuts on Nov. 10.
