Kris Humphries is auctioning off his ex-wife Kim Kardashian's engagement ring to get full closure from the failed relationship.
According to US Weekly, a custom Lorraine Schwartz ring with a 16.21 carat diamon center is on the auction list for the October 15 “Magnificent Jewels” event at Chrstie's auction house. Although the name on the ring won't be revealed, the ring that Humphries put on Kardashian's finger is an exact match.
A source told the magazine that "Kim has been waiting for the day he would auction it. Everyone always asked what Kim did with the ring -- she silently gave it back over a year ago! And Kris waited until the divorce was final to sell it."
Although the ring's value was estimated at around $2 million in 2011, it is predicted to bring in between $300 and $500 thousand.
The Daily News reports that the Boston Celtics player proposed during Kardashian's reality TV show in the summer of 2011. The couple was married for 72 days before filing for divorce.
While Humphries is moving on by selling the ring, Kardashian is busy raising baby North with her boyfriend Kanye West.
