Lamar Odom, the free agent NBA player and husband of reality star Khloe Kardashian Odom, has officially been charged for his driving under the influence arrest late last month.
Odom was pulled over on the morning of Aug. 30, driving his SUV erratically on the 101 freeway and spent three and a half hours in jail. He was released on $1,5000 bail.
According to The Associated Press, the Los Angeles city attorney's office officially filed a misdemeanor DUI charge against Odom. If he’s convicted, the former LA Clippers player could spend six months in jail and face a $1,000 fine.
His arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 27.
Odom and Kardashian have been at the center of media speculation over the past several weeks, with reports that he went to rehab and checked out a day later. There are also rumors that their marriage is crumbling as another tabloid story about a woman who claims she had an affair with Odom surfaced this week. Odom is also reportedly being sued by a photographer for smashing his equipment earlier this summer.
This week, Odom told TMZ that “life is good” and that he has definitely spoken to Kardashian.
