Despite previous reports, NBA star Lamar Odom is NOT in rehab.
People confirmed that the troubled ball player checked himself into rehab Wednesday night with a source saying, “He realized he needs help.”
However, TMZ reports that Odom is actually not in rehab with sources simply saying that he is not in rehab.
The report also notes that Odom has since gone off the radar and has not spoken to his wife since the reports that he entered rehab first surfaced.
Odom’s struggles with drug abuse first surfaced late last month. The former Clippers star reportedly suffers from an addiction to crack cocaine, which has cost him a reported $50,000.
Odom’s reality star wife, Khloe Kardashian-Odom, has desperately tried to help her husband during his time of struggles but has reportedly given him the ultimatum of getting help or she is leaving.
TMZ notes that Khloe’s threats were met with silence and Odom has since not been seen.
