Lamar Odom has been in the news lately for his alleged drug use and his alleged drug of choice is crack-cocaine. There have been rumors flying around about Khloe and Lamar's marriage including infidelities, Lamar's drug use and seperation. Odom, 33 hasn't publicly confirmed these rumors but he has been keeping to himself for the past couple of months.
Odom's father, Joe had an interview with Radar Online, and he blames the Kardashian family for Lamar's downfall. “The mother has been talking a lot of trash about my son, saying he’s on drugs and stuff like that. She’s got something against my son, something against my family. Kris Jenner is very negative. She’s an evil b*tch. She doesn’t care about Lamar, she just cares about their image and money.”
He also goes on to say that Khloe is "controlling." and he added, "I saw her totally differently when I heard the way she talked privately. It isn’t pleasant. In public she’s nice, but if you see her personally you see the real person come out of her."
Lamar didn't take too kindly to his father's choice words about his wife. Today he posted a link to an open letter, on his Twitter account defending his wife and her family, basically calling him a liar. He says that his father, "is disrespecting the ONLY family that has loved me without expecting anything in return."
He also warns the public to leave his family alone.
Joe Odom told TMZ today, that his son doesn't have a drug problem and he backtracks his initial comments on the Kardashian family. He says, "I apologize for the things I had said previously, because I was frustrated about what they said on the Wendy Williams show."
Joe Odom says that he thinks that the family gets a bad rep and that they're a wonderful family.
It's not clear what made him backtrack but he says that he is tired of the stories that are being put out there about him and his son.
So far, there hasn't been a response from the Kardashian family.
