Lance Bass proposed to longtime boyfriend, aspiring actor and model Michael Turchin in New Orleans and he said yes!
According to Us Weekly, Bass sent a text message to his husband-to-be’s parents asking for their permission before officially popping the question. Bass proposed with a black diamond band.
Bass celebrated the news with an Instagram post saying, “He said YES!! Love this man.”
Turchin also celebrated the news writing on Twitter that he is the “Happiest guy in the world.”
A source close to the couple gave an inside look into the proposal, telling People that Bass had hoped to propose in Jackson Square in New Orleans. “They went, but it was closed," the source says. "The park and gates were closed, so he got down on one knee outside of the gates and proposed. [Michael] said yes. After, they went to a karaoke bar called the Cats Meow, where all their friends gathered to celebrate."
