LeAnn Rimes canceled a show in Dublin on Thursday after being rushed to the emergency room. The 31-year-old has been battling a viral infection for awhile now, and couldn't take it anymore.
Rimes took to Twitter to sum up her feelings while in the hospital, tweeting, “Never thought I'd see the ER in Dublin. I have coughed myself into pain. The spasm is intense. Being human sucks sometimes."
Rimes is doing okay, but the doctors told her to stop talking or singing for awhile. She is expected to be healed and singing again soon. A rep for the “Can't Fight the Moonlight” singer reported to omg! that "LeAnn is currently on vocal rest in her hotel room under a doctor and vocal specialist's care due to a resurgence of a viral infection that she has been struggling with the past two weeks."
Rimes also tweeted a picture of the dry erase board that her hotel gave her so she could communicate easily.
A gift from the hotel, a dry erase board cause I'm on 100% voice rest. I was thinking smaller but that'll wrk lol pic.twitter.com/3dZo511ErL

According to the Examiner, Rimes thanked her fans for being so understanding, but there was no talk about rescheduling the show.
She left the country leaving another message to her fans via the social media network, saying, "Thank you to all my fantastic, understanding, loving fans here in Ireland," she wrote, adding, "I didn't get to sing or talk to you, but I got to give you all a hug."
